Sandrine Orabona is an Emmy award winning director and producer with accomplishments in documentary film, television, and advertising. From acclaimed documentaries to high-end branded work, Orabona is drawn to intimate, character-based profiles of extraordinary people.
Notable directing projects include Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 1 and 2 (Amazon Prime), A Radical Act: Renee Montgomery (Roku, Uninterrupted), Lady Valor: The Kristin Beck Story (CNN Films), The New West Coast Sound: An LA Jazz Legacy (PBS), and State of Play: First Ladies (HBO Sports).
Orabona also shot the record-breaking film This Is It (Sony Pictures), which follows Michael Jackson in the final weeks of his life while preparing for his “This Is It” tour. Her brand work spans across a multitude of clients including Subaru, Allstate, Valentino, McDonald’s, Disney, Warner Bros., and Universal Studios.
Born in France and raised in South Florida, Orabona speaks English, French, and Spanish and has worked both in the U.S. and abroad. Together with her partner and executive producer, Anke Thommen, she founded Storyform, a creative content studio focused on authentic, engaging storytelling in long and short form documentary and branded content.
